Rockport, '09 (part three)

Donna, doing her beach thing with the boys in the background.

After Wingaersheek, we returned to Cape Hedge Beach for another relaxing day. The boys played in the water (excluding Dan, who camped out in the shade), Mom and Donna knit/needlepointed/read, I took pictures and probably napped a little.

The boys playing catch
It seemed like a normal beach day, until the boys whipped off their swim trunks to reveal speedos, which provided a little more entertainment. There was an awful lot of pasty white upper-man thigh, but the boys didn't care. They sauntered down to the other beach (Long Beach, I think?) to show off a little. David apparently got his butt slapped by some random man who claimed 'you can't walk around looking like that without expecting a little ass grabbing' (or something like that). I don't think we stopped laughing until the boys put their normal swim trunks back on.

It took them so long to figure out that once they turned around they were each still the same letters

Butt grab. This will be the cover for their modeling calendar, I have decided.

Back in Rockport, Dan and I mastered the self-timer for a shot.

Rockport, '09 (part two)

Pat at the beach
The next day dawned gorgeous, and we headed to Wingaersheek beach. Things went as usual - Dan stayed in the shade, the boys played catch and spied on girls (twins doing gymnastics, to be exact), and we all took a walk down the sandbar.
