First Snow

Clearly, as the title states, we had our first snow this week. Not us, per se, but anyone a little higher in the mountains. It's quite interesting, actually, because you could see the line where the altitude was no longer high enough around the middle of each mountain, where the snow stopped. It's just crazy, because the juxtaposition of the bright (and sometimes still green) trees in the valley with the snow on the mountains is kind of unbelievable.

Anyway, just thought I'd share since I was utterly shocked by the sight when I woke up this morning!
